Who We Are

About Don Valley West for Environmental Action

We are a group of residents in Don Valley West working to build a greener, more sustainable future in our riding.

Through community engagement and education, we want to inspire people to take action in their daily lives and to spur our local politicians to lead on issues important to Don Valley West.

We are a proud member of Green Neighbours Network and team up with other Toronto-based groups that share our goals. We run a photo contest celebrating the Don Valley's natural beauty, co-hosted a tree walk with Toronto Environmental Alliance (TEA), and are planning our first Repair Cafe.

We've established ongoing communication and regular meetings with our political representatives at all three levels of government. Our outreach activities include participating in our local councillor's Community Environment Day, in a local interest group's EcoForum, and at the local MP's and MPP's annual New Year's Levee.
