Spring Photo Competition is open! Capture what's beautiful and unique in Ward 15's parks, ravines, and wild spaces. Deadline: June 21, 2026.
We are a group of residents in Don Valley West working to build a greener, more sustainable future in our riding.
Through community engagement and education, we want to inspire people to take action in their daily lives and to spur our local politicians to lead on issues important to Don Valley West.
We are a proud member of Green Neighbours Network and team up with other Toronto-based groups that share our goals. We run a photo contest celebrating the Don Valley's natural beauty, co-hosted a tree walk with Toronto Environmental Alliance (TEA), and are planning our first Repair Cafe for spring 2026.
We've established ongoing communication and regular meetings with our political representatives at all three levels of government. Our outreach activities include participating in our local councillor's Community Environment Day, in a local interest group's EcoForum, and at the local MP's and MPP's annual New Year's Levee.
We serve Toronto's Ward 15, stretching from the Don Valley ravines through Leaside, Thorncliffe Park, and Bennington Heights. Our ward includes some of the city's most beautiful green spaces, and some neighborhoods that need more.
Explore our interactive Green Map to see community photos of local green spaces, from hidden trails to neighborhood parks.
Think you can do better? Our Spring 2026 competition is now open!

There are many ways to contribute to environmental conservation in the Don Valley
Join our guided walks through Don Valley to learn about native trees, urban ecology, and the importance of protecting our local green spaces.
Coming soon: community events where volunteers help repair broken items instead of throwing them away. Reduce waste and learn new skills!
We partner with Toronto Environmental Alliance, ClimateFast, and other organizations to advocate for meaningful climate policy at all levels of government.
We've advocated for green roof policies in the City of Toronto and are enthusiastic supporters of Transform TO and the Building Emissions Performance Standard (BEPS).
