Who We Are
About Don Valley for Environmental Action
We are advocates for environmental policy and community action in the Don Valley, working to protect our urban forests and build a more sustainable neighborhood.
Our work focuses on advocacy for green infrastructure like green roofs and urban tree canopy protection, community education through tree walks and workshops, and building partnerships with organizations like the Toronto Environmental Alliance to push for meaningful climate policy.
We believe environmental action starts locally. Whether it's advocating for green roof requirements on new developments, organizing repair cafes to reduce waste, or leading walks through the Don Valley ravine system, we're building a community that cares for our shared environment.
